Glendale Community College (GCC) was among the select colleges and universities that were named winners in the 41st Annual Educational Advertising Awards competition. GCC won four Gold awards and one Silver award.
The National Educational Advertising Awards competition is the largest of its kind in the country. Over one-thousand colleges and universities from all fifty states and numerous foreign countries submitted entries. Of the colleges and universities that participated in the competition, many are from very well-known and well-funded institutions, which makes GCC’s accomplishment all the more impressive.
Judges for the Educational Advertising Awards consisted of a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing executives and advertising professionals.
The GCC marketing team includes Stacey Carrillo-Saldana, Tim Farrow, Yvonne McMillan, Jason Sadler and Leonore Welling, and is led by John Heckenlaible. The team earned the following awards:
