In keeping with the rich tradition of building community and recognizing faculty and staff for exemplary service and dedication to the college, Glendale Community College held its 15th annual Gaucho Globes award ceremony at the Spring 2026 Convocation on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

Glendale Community College alum Sarah Lucas-Page won first prize in the International Clarinet Association (ICA) 2025 Research Competition for her paper, “Reshaping the Stage: Fat Body Politics and the Clarinet Performance World.”
